Castle Conquer: A classic style board game

A board game meant to evoke late medieval siege warfare. Build up your tower, and protect your kingdom, all while trying to take others down.

Find the fun

Originally Castle Conquer’s goal was to knock over your opponents’ towers using a cannon. However, strategic elements needed to be added to make the game fun.

Our first step was to add a dice roll round that could either help or harm the player.

Our best change was a piece that could cost the player their kingdom in a single moment. Having a Shield piece to defend upped the stakes and truly made the game fun.

Print test to see if the board looked nice before the official print.

Gameplay test during studio time.
